Kids:
A few hours ago, I landed in Los Angeles, turned on my phone, and confirmed what you already know. Sony Pictures Television is replacing me as showrunner on Community, with two seasoned fellows that I’m sure are quite nice - actually, I have it on good authority they’re quite nice, because…

3. Sambomaster’s Sambomaster wa Kimi ni Katarikakeru

LET ME MENTION THAT I DO NOT HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE SINGING ABOUT IN THIS ALBUM!!!!
But that hardly stops me from playing this album on repeat. When I first heard one of their songs all those years ago, I thought it sounded awful. But as my taste in music grew, I learned to really appreciate their style of music. At first umm…listen (?) it sounds like someone took a bunch of instruments, put them in a jar, and just shook it repeatedly. However, the more I listened to it, it started to hear the music in it. All the mess and noise fell into place and started to feel perfect.
Now I understand there will be many people who disagree with me on this one. But I love the uniqueness of this band and the style of music they make. Not to mention, I NEVER expected that singer to sing like he does. Quite the shocking surprise. But he definitely won my heart, bringing him up to number three on my list! :)
